Description

Hydrophilic, rigid allyl dextran/bisacrylamide matrix for fast and reproducible purification of proteins, polysaccharides and other macromolecules

Chromatography media offer good recovery and low nonspecific adsorption. Enable gel filtration at laboratory and industrial scale, and may be purchased in prepacked columns.

  • For separating polysaccharides, macromolecules with extended structures, and small plasmids
  • Excellent purification over a wide molecular weight range
  • High reproducibility due to long-term chemical and physical stability

Chemical Stability (stable in all common buffers):

  • 1M acetic acid, 8M urea
  • 6M guanidine-HCl, 1% SDS
  • 2M NaCl, 24% ethanol
  • 30% propanol, 30% acetonitrile
  • 0.5M NaOH (for cleaning)
pH Stability
  • 3 to 11 (long-term and working)
  • 2 to 13 (short-term)
Physical Stability:
  • Negligible volume variation due to changes in pH or ionic strength
