Description

Chemically conjugate any two purified proteins (antibodies, enzymes, carriers, etc.) using sulfo-SMCC crosslinker, a complete kit with modification reagents and buffers.

Thermo Scientific™ Pierce Controlled Protein-Protein Crosslinking Kit contains essential crosslinkers, modification reagents and buffers for conjugating antibodies, enzymes and other purified proteins needed as probes.

The kit provides Sulfo-SMCC crosslinker for amine-to-sulfhydryl conjugation and SATA modification reagent for specific sulfhydryl-addition. The crosslinking strategy allows two purified proteins, such as an antibody and a reporter enzyme, to be conjugated in a two-step, controlled manner. Supplementary components, buffers and columns are also included to support successful creation of a useful conjugate via any one of several specific protocols.

  • Sulfo-SMCC – high-quality crosslinker conjugates primary amines of protein 1 to sulfhydryl groups of protein 2
