Description

An excellent solution for heating, sterilization and combustion in the laboratory. R&L Enterprises™ LPG Propane and Butane Bunsen Burners are designed to work at propane 35 millibars and butane 28 millibars with the appropriate pressure reduction valves being fitted to the gas cylinders.

  • Generally achieves temperatures slightly lower than those achieved with natural gas, the range being 850° to 950°C
  • Liquid petroleum gases are more searching than either coal or natural gas - for this reason all the jets on LPG burners are sealed with a jointing compound
  • In the event that jets might be changed a jointing compound must be used
  • Constructed using a heavy pressure diecast base painted in chemically resistant blue acrylic finish
  • Tested for flame quality and leakage prior to packing
