Detection of Gram negative bacterial endotoxin. Lonza Kinetic-QCL™ Chromogenic LAL Assay Kit is most sensitive of LAL assays.

  • Sample mixed with reconstituted LAL reagent in 96-well plate and placed in incubating plate reader
  • Absorbance at 405nm
  • Reaction is monitored over time for appearance of yellow color
  • In presence of endotoxin, lysate will cleave chromogenic substrate, causing solution to become yellow
  • Certificate of analysis is provided
