Description

Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ column is a gravity flow column to purify Strep-tag™II or Twin-Strep-tag™ fusion proteins

  • Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ columns contain a 6% agarose coupled with the streptavidin variant Strep-Tactin™XT and are applicable for purification of Strep-tag™II or Twin-Strep-tag™ fusion proteins via gravity flow.
  • As with any other Strep-Tactin™XT resins, the unspecific protein binding is extremely low, which leads to an outstanding purity of the target protein.
  • In comparison to Strep-Tactin™ Superflow™, Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ has a higher affinity for Strep-tag™ fusion proteins, which leads to an improved immobilization and purification.
  • In addition, Strep-Tactin™XT Superflow™ allows the application of denaturing agents such as urea during the purification procedure.
  • To reduce the waiting period during the sample and buffer application, the use of the application aid WET FRED is recommended.
