Description

Used as convenient alternative method for closing sterile media flasks and vials instead of cotton plugs.

  • Used for microbiology applications
  • During storage of media, it is preferable to cover the stoppers with aluminum foil to avoid dust contamination on removal
  • Shrinkage will occur after continued use following autoclaving, but this is dependent purely on application
  • To eliminate the possibility of obstructing the flow of air into the media container, care should be taken not to crease the stoppers on fitting
