Description

Suitable for all Blueline electrodes. Electrode Filling Solution, 3M KCl, Reagecon™ is a ready-to-use potassium chloride solution without silver ions. It is used to store pH electrodes when they are not in use to help ensure that electrodes produce fast response times and accurate results.

Glass electrodes need to be kept moist. If an electrode dries out during storage, a regeneration procedure is required to restore the hydrated glass layer and the reference junction in order to make the electrode operable. Filling the storage cap/tube with a potassium chloride solution keeps the electrode hydrated to maximize electrode performance and extend electrode life.
