Movable adapter gives a uniform flow that maintains the integrity of the packed bed during HPLC operations. Cytiva Adapter for XK Columns is an assembled unit consisting of a top-end cap, a plunger and an adjusting knob. Available for 16, 26 and 50mm diameter XK columns.

XK empty columns are designed for liquid chromatography at low to medium pressure. They are user friendly, robust, and give reproducible packing, and they feature fittings for direct connection to ÄKTA™ design instruments or other HPLC systems. XK columns are supplied with a movable adapter.

  • Plunger design ensures a homogeneous buffer distribution and reproducible packing
  • QuickLock mechanism of the adapter shaft facilitates easy column handling and cleaning
  • Adapter top-end cap fits directly into the column end piece
