Thermo Scientific™ CaptureSelect™ HRP Anti-AAV9 Conjugate includes a 13-kDa recombinant single domain antibody fragment (VHH affinity ligand) that specifically binds adeno-associated virus particles of serotype 9 (AAV9).

CaptureSelect HRP Anti-AAV9 Conjugate includes a 13-kDa recombinant single domain antibody fragment (VHH affinity ligand) that specifically binds adeno-associated virus particles of serotype 9 (AAV9).

CaptureSelect HRP Anti-AAV9 Conjugate can be combined with CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-AAV9 Conjugate (Cat. No. 7103332100) in enzyme-linked immunoassays to quantify the total number of AAV9 capsids. Sandwich ELISA set-ups can be designed using the biotin anti-AAV9 conjugate as a capture reagent immobilized on a streptavidin coated surface. HRP anti-AAV9 conjugate is then used for detection of bound AAV9 capsids.

For assay development to measure total capsids for other AAV serotypes, we recommend CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-AAVX Conjugate (Cat. No. 7103522100) and CaptureSelect HRP Anti-AAVX Conjugate (Cat. No. 7303522100).

Free of animal components

CaptureSelect products contain affinity ligands based on recombinant single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) created by a proprietary technology. The VHH affinity ligand is a 12 to 15 kDa fragment comprising the three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) that form the antigen-binding domain, efficiently produced in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae by a production process free of any animal components (Animal Origin-Free).
