Useful for the study of DNA synthesis. 5-Bromo-2'-Deoxyuridine, MP Biomedicals (5-BrdU) is a thymidine analogue that is incorporated into DNA. It is routinely and extensively used to measure DNA synthesis and to label dividing cells. Consequently it is us

5-BrdU can be used to label DNA, which can be used in conjunction with BrdU Monoclonal Antibody for the immunohistochemical analysis of cell proliferation. Thymidine analog is used as a mutagen in genetic research. It is selectively incorporated into cellular DNA in place of thymidine during S-phase. It is also used to study cell signaling and other processes that induce cell proliferation.
