Selector Guide

Use this interactive guide to find the perfect exam gloves for your application. Just select a feature, walk through the options and our recommendations will be displayed right here.

1. What glove material are you looking for?

Nitrile gloves have high durability and resistance to punctures, chemicals , and oil. Latex provides excellent comfort and sensitivity; however, it can generate allergies. Neoprene has excellent chemical resistance but is not as puncture-resistant as nitrile or latex. Finally, vinyl gloves are more economical but less durable and are mostly used in food handling.

2. Do you require a powder-free glove?

Powdered gloves have a fine powder coating on the inside surface of the glove which facilitates donning (putting on) and doffing (taking off) of the gloves. The powder can absorb moisture, keeping the hands drier and more comfortable. However, the powder can potentially cause allergies or skin irritation in some individuals. It may also contaminate certain sensitive environments or interfere with certain applications, such as in cleanrooms or when working with certain materials or processes.

3. What size of gloves do you need?

A proper-fitting glove should be snug but not overly tight, allowing for flexibility and ease of movement without compromising dexterity.
