Description
Vanadium(III) chloride acts as an intermediate in organic synthesis and in the manufacture of organic light emitting diodes. It acts as a precursor to other vanadium(III) complexes. Further, it is used in the preparation of vanadium dichloride and organovanadium compounds. In addition to this, it serves as a catalyst in the production of ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber and polyethylene.
