This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Bovine, Pig, and Mouse. Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They are comprised of a selection of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing the best of both worlds - the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies - all delivered with the consistency only found in a recombinant antibody. While functionally the same as a polyclonal antibody - recognizing multiple epitope sites on the target and producing higher detection sensitivity for low abundance targets - a recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibody has a known mixture of light and heavy chains. The exact population can be produced in every lot, circumventing the biological variability typically associated with polyclonal antibody production. SUZ12 (polycomb protein SUZ12) is a zinc finger gene and has been identified at the breakpoints of a recurrent chromosomal translocation reported in endometrial stromal sarcoma. Recombination of these breakpoints results in the fusion of this gene and JAZF1. SUZ12 is also a component of the PRC2/EED-EZH2 complex which methylates Lys-9 (H3K9me) and Lys-27 (H3K27me) of histone H3 leading to transcriptional repression of the affected target gene. The protein encoded by this gene contains a zinc finger domain in the C terminus of the coding region.
