Description

Stabilized for an extended 12-week shelf-life. Reagecon™ Brix Standard, 60%, ICUMSA Compliant is a ready-to-use sucrose refractive index standard in a convenient dropper bottle for use with all types of refractometers. Test results accredited to ISO 17025 and manufactured according to ISO Guide 34.

This sucrose standard solution contains high purity raw ingredients, can be used with any brand of refractometer, is stabilized to have an extended 12-week shelf-life and is manufactured in accordance with ICUMSA Guidelines.

  • Prepared gravimetrically on a weight/weight basis: both solute (sucrose) and solvent (water) are weighed on a balance calibrated using OIML traceable weights
  • Balance Certificate of Calibration is issued in accordance with ISO 17025 for calibration of nonautomatic weighing machines (INAB ref: 265C)
  • Brix value is verified using a high-performance calibrated, temperature-controlled refractometer using high-purity, ISO Guide 34-accredited Brix standards
