Sodium acetate buffer solution pH, 5.2 is been widely used in for precipitation of nucleic acids and preparation of gel stains for protein gel electrophoresis. Sodium acetate buffer solution is suitable for precipitation of DNA, elution of proteins and for use in molecular biology applications such as Chip-on-Chip assay and in vitro enzyme inhibition assay.
