Description

Slot Blot manifolds provide the ideal way to hybridise proteins and nucleic acids in solution onto membranes. Easy to assemble, the slot blot can produce 48 sample throughputs. Each manifold requires a vacuum pump or water aspirator equivalent to 600 mm Hg (0.8 Bar).

  • 48 well Slot Blot manifold
  • Sample volume 300 μL/slot
  • Template allows membranes to be cut down to size
  • Stainless steel thumbscrews and precision-lapped mating surfaces - maintain vacuum transfer without sample smearing, cross contamination and leakage
  • Vacuum port can be connected to a water aspirator or vacuum pump
  • Vacuum reservoir serves as a collection chamber for filtrate
