Description

Optimizes the capacity with 23.5% compared to conventional storage solutions. Tenak™ SlimTube™ Cryogenic Vials are the first of their kind with external thread to be stored in standard 10 x 10 cryoboxes.

  • Unique cryotube is the first of its kind with external thread
  • The external thread limits sample contamination and is the preferred choice when selecting a cryotube
  • Cap is designed with single-handed quick seal closure for easy handling.The steep thread design allows tightening and removal of the cap with only half a turn
  • Constructed of specially formulated polypropylene to withstand temperatures to –196°C
  • The polypropylene used for both cap and tube has the same coefficient of expansion, ensuring an equally secure seal both at room temperature and at low cryogenic temperatures
  • Cap includes a conical lip seal which makes it self-sealing,100% leak proof, and user-friendly
  • Two indicators for maximum recommended filling. One indicator for storing at -80°C, and one for storing in liquid nitrogen in the vapour phase at -196°C
  • Star foot design allows the tube to be self-standing.
  • Compatible with common working stations on the market, and suitable for singlehanded manipulation
