Description

Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is an agar medium recommended for the isolation, cultivation and identification of non-pathogenic and pathogenic fungi.

Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is an agar medium recommended for the isolation, cultivation and identification of non-pathogenic and pathogenic fungi. This medium does not contain antibiotics or inhibitors and can be used for the cultivation of those fungi which are susceptible to antibiotics.

Dissolve 65.0 grams in 1 liter distilled water. Sterilize by autoclaving for 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

Casein Digest Peptone: 10.0 g/L

Dextrose: 40.0 g/L

Agar: 15.0 g/L
