MA5-15341 targets RSK1 in indirect ELISA, IHC and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-15341 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human RSK1 expressed in E. Coli.

RPS6KA1 (RSK1) is a growth-factor regulated serine/threonine kinase that is involved in the MAPK cascade. It is thought to control cellular proliferation and differentiation through the phosphorylation of transcription factors. RPS6KA1 contains 2 nonidentical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) signalling pathway. The activity of this protein has been implicated in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
