Description

Use with empty FastPrep™ tubes. Red Caps are screw scaps with an O-ring for use with 2 mL microfuge tubes. These caps are sold separately for those who wish to fill their own Lysing Matrix C tubes for prepare samples for homogenization

  • Red Caps fit empty FastPrep™ tubes and are used in FastPrep systems.
  • Add sample to empty tube, add Lysing Matrix C material and lysing buffer, and apply cap. Process using FastPrep instrument or other bead-beater to lsye, grind or homogenize sample.
  • Red caps are also found in the Fast RNA™ Pro Red Kit for isolation of total RNA from yeast and fungi.
