Description

Designed to isolate CD3+ T cells via a negative selection principle

The T cell receptor (TCR)/CD3 complex consists of two variable antigen-recognition receptor chains (TCR-alpha/TCR-beta or TCR-gamma/TCR-delta) that are noncovalently linked to at least four different invariant chains: CD3 gamma, CD3 delta, CD3 epsilon, and the CD3 zeta chain. The CD3 complex functions to transduce intracellular signals during TCR antigen recognition. CD3 is expressed early in thymocyte development, and on a subset of NK cells.

Typical recovery ranges from 45-65% and the purity of recovered CD3+ T cells ranges from 90-98%
Magnetically tagged cells will migrate toward the magnet (unwanted cell fraction), leaving the untagged cells or desired cell population in suspension to be harvested by aspiration while the tube remains in the magnetic field
