Description
Proteinase K is necessary for the isolation of DNA or simultaneous RNA / DNA isolation for DNA viruses (e.g. HBV) that are more difficult to lyse. Proteinase K treatment is also recommended for viral RNA isolation when viscous samples have to be processed (e.g., sputum samples).
- Delivered with stabilizing solution to enable storage for up to six months at -20°C
- No decrease of proteinase activity when dissolved in the buffer compared to dissolving in water
- Lyophilized mataerial is supplied in precisely measured vials, to which buffer solution is added to prepare 20mg/mL stock solution
- Suitable for use with the NucleoSpin™ RNA Virus F kit and other NucleoSpin™ and NucleoBond™ kits, and also suitable for use in most other applications
