Description

Removes endotoxins via an additional washing step, without ice incubation. Macherey-Nagel™ NucleoBond™ PC EF Kit is a classic anion exchanger for purification of endotoxin-free plasmid DNA. The kit includes NucleoBond™ AX Columns, all buffers, RNase A and NucleoBond™ Filters.

An important prerequisite for transfections and gene therapy applications is endotoxin-free plasmid DNA. The patented procedure of NucleoBond™ PC EF reduces endotoxins to a very low level using the same working procedure as the standard protocol. In comparison to competitive kits, there is no need for a time-consuming incubation step to remove the endotoxins.

  • Fast and easy clarification by NucleoBond™ Folded Filters—No centrifugation required, no shearing forces
  • Proven anion-exchange technology—Yields transfection-grade high-copy plasmid DNA from E. coli
  • NucleoBond™ Columns contain NucleoBond™ AX Silica Resin packed between inert filters
  • Polypropylene columns are resistant to organic solvents and are free of DNase and RNase
  • AX Resin can be used over a wide pH range and can remain in contact with buffers for up to three hours
