Description

Enables easy needle penetration and resealability with reduced handling and contamination risk and with no interfering peaks. Macherey-Nagel™ Screw Cap with Center Hole, N8 are pre-assembled, ready to use caps with medium-soft septa for use with N8 screw cap chromatography vials.

Fully automated closure manufacturing with defined production parameters avoids variations in the physical and analytical condition of the most critical component of the analysis: the cap. Strict analytical specifications on the septa material allow only processing of such septa material that passes the comprehensive analytical tests in the lab.These products are manufactured under strict hygienic conditions. In-process controls and a final QC inspection have been implemented to grant reliable product quality. 

  • Pre-assembled, ready-to-use screw caps made of sturdy black propylene
  • Used with Macherey-Nagel™ N8 screw cap vials featuring an 8mm opening and 8-425 thread neck
  • Septum in the center hole is made of medium-soft silicone rubber and a PTFE membrane
  • 100 caps are packaged in a polyethylene (PE) bag
