Description

3,3'-Diaminobenzidine is used in immunohistology and immunoblotting as a precipitating substrate for the localization of peroxidase activity. Insoluble end product is resistant to alcohol and fading, making it ideal for immunohistochemistry. Each tablet contains 5 mg of DAB.

  • Preweighed reagents in tablet form offer convenience and efficiency.
  • Tablets both reduce the risk of exposure to hazardous dust and eliminate cumbersome weighing and waste.
  • Simply drop into the appropriate amount of distilled water, dissolve, and proceed.
  • 100 tablets/Pk.
  • Dissolve one tablet in 10 mL deionized water. Use liquid substrate within one hour. Immediately before use, add hydrogen peroxide to 0.1% (v/v).
