Description

Concentrate urine, cerebrospinal and other fluids to enrich analytes. Minicon B15, 8 Cells/Unit is used worldwide as a preparatory step to increase the sensitivity of subsequent in vitro and clinical tests. Static concentrator requires no accessories.

  • Concentrate serum, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, and other body fluids prior to analysis
  • Intesifies analytes that indicate abnormal or pathological states (e.g., Bence Jones proteins in urine)
  • Typical uses include:
    • Concentrate proteins, antibody and antigen titers, and enzymes or isoenzymes
    • Simple concentration of research samples
    • Removal or exchange of salts and other microsolutes by repetitive dilution and concentration
    • Purification of membrane-retained macrosolute
  • Absorbent pulls solvent and salts through the ultrafilter, concentrating the sample
  • Requires no additional equipment and can be operated unattended
  • Non-sterile, disposable, 8-well ultrafiltration device with a volume of 5mL (50μL final concentrate volume)
