Designed for the magnetic separation of CD14+ cells by positive selection. It may also be used for the depletion of CD14+ cells. It has been optimized for use with human peripheral blood monocuclear cells, utilizing a biotinylated Anti-Human CD14 antibody and streptavidin-coated magnetic beads.

  • CD14+ cells are bound by antibody and then magnetic beads
  • When placed in a magnetic field, the CD14- cells can be separated from CD14+ cells by decanting
  • After selection, the purity of selected cells can be verified by staining with Anti-Human CD4, clone RPA-T4 and Anti-Human CD14, clone 61D3
