Beschreibung

The kit allows for the isolation of genomic DNA. Samples are placed into Lysing Matrix E tubes and used with FastPrep™ instruments to lyse host cells, bacteria, fungi, viruses, protists and other cells.

  • Quick and efficient isolation of high-quality genomic DNA from:
    • Fresh or frozen human and animal feces, intestinal contents
      • < 60 min. for extraction
      • High yield and throughput
      • Free from inhibitors
  • Samples placed into Lysing Matrix E tubes and used with FastPrep™ instruments to lyse within 40 seconds:
    • Host cells
    • Bacteria
    • Fungi
    • Viruses
    • Protists
    • Other cells in fecal samples

Kit:

  • Compatible with most automated nucleic acid extraction instruments
  • Can be operated manually
  • No phenol/chloroform or other toxic chemicals
  • Consists of specially formulated reagents to eliminate:
    • Humic acid
    • Polysaccharides
    • Phenolic compounds
    • Enzyme inhibitors from feces
  • Allows for extraction of highly pure genomic DNA ready for:
