Description
Lanthanum(III) sulfide is used as a precursor in the production of gallium lanthanum sulfide and strontium lathanum sulfide. It is also used in glass manufacturing. It is doped with other metals and used in optical fibers. It is also used as optical switching, high power-delivery, acousto-optic devices, air-guiding fibers, fiber sensors and mid-IR devices.
