Description

Obtain optimum success with nickel crucible lids during the heating process preventing the chance of hot material spattering out of an open crucible. In fusions where zirconium or other metals cannot be used, the Clifton™ Nickel Crucible Lids are the ideal alternative.

  • Provides a cover to crucibles
  • Prevents chance of hot material spattering out of open crucible during heating process
  • Lid can be easily removed with either stainless steel or nickel laboratory tongs 
  • Forms a tightly adhering oxide file between 400°C and 600°C in oxidizing atmospheres
  • Nickel effective for use in fusions where zirconium or other metals cannot be used
