Description

Prevent ignition by sparks resulting from movement of flammable liquids

Choose from flexible or insulated wire.

  • Flexible wire constructed of multistrand aircraft cable encased in zinc-coated steel
  • Insulated wire constructed of multistrand copper wire with black polyurethane electricity-resistant coating
  • Standard grounding wire lengths are 3 and 10 ft. (1 and 3m); when longer lengths are needed, use several wires with 0.25 in. terminal ends (Cat. Nos. 17-985-90G or 17-985-90J) bolted together

Compliance

Comply with OSHA standards and local safety codes requiring grounded containers during the transfer of liquids and drums connected to an earth ground.
