Description
MM600D targets IL-6 in ELISA, and WB applications and shows reactivity with mouse samples. The MM600D immunogen is recombinant mouse IL-6. MM600D detects IL-6 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 22 kDa. The MM600D mouse IL6 antibody (clone 32C11) has successfully been paired as the coating antibody in a sandwich ELISA with detection antibody MM600CB (biotinylated conjugate of clone 20F3). Typical dilutions for sandwich ELISA include 1 μg/mL for coating and 0.125 - 0.25 μg/mL for detection. Antibody MM600D (clone 32C11) and biotinylated antibody MM600CB (clone 20F3) have successfully been used in combination with recombinant mouse IL6 protein SMIL6 in ELISA applications. This antibody is produced by injecting Rat IgG secreting hybridoma cells into the peritoneum of mice. The resulting ascites is collected from the mice and the antibody is purified. This product has been tested for endotoxins by limulus amoebocyte lysate (LAL) assay and contains an endotoxin concentration of less than or equal to 10 endotoxin units per milligram (EU/mg).
