Description

Used as a laboratory reagent and acidifying agent. Hydrochloric Acid Solution, 1M, Chem-Lab contains 36.461g HCl per liter of water. It is used for pH control, in the production of organic and inorganic compounds, and in the regeneration of ion exchange resins. According to ASTM D-4047.

Hydrochloric acid is a corrosive, strong mineral acid with many industrial uses. It is a colorless, highly pungent solution of hydrogen chloride (HCl) in water. It is frequently used in pH buffer solutions, in the regeneration of ion exchange resins and in the production of chlorides and the synthesis of organic products.
