Recombinant Human Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. BDNF is a neurotrophic factor involved in the survival and differentiation of neurons in the central and peripheral nervous system and used in the maintenance of motor neurons and the differentiation of both cholinergic and dopaminergic neurons.

High Biological Activity

Recombinant Human Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) specific activity is determined by measuring the dose-dependent induction of choline acetyl transferase activity in primary septal cell cultures.
