Description

Designed for use with syringe, peristaltic pump, or chromatography systems such as AKTA design for convenient media screening and optimization studies

  • Consists of five HiTrap columns, prepacked with Capto ion exchange chromatography media with different characteristics
  • For media screening; includes five 1mL HiTrap columns prepacked with Capto Q, Capto S, Capto DEAE, Capto MMC, Capto adhere, as well as connectors and instructions
  • For optimization studies; buffer composition, pH, flow rate, sample loading and elution schemes can be optimized with small sample quantities prior to scale-up
  • Capto Q is strong anion exchanger, Capto DEAE is weak anion exchanger, Capto S is strong cation exchanger
  • Capto MMC and Capto adhere media have multimodal characteristics that can be used to solve specific purification problems
  • Capto MMC is multimodal cation exchanger that is functional at high as well as at low ionic strength
  • Capto adhere is multimodal strong anion exchanger mainly designed for post-protein A purification of monoclonal antibodies
  • Prepacked columns and bulk media are available for larger scale preparative purifications
