These models are specifically designed for ashing

These models are specifically designed for ashing. They have a protected element design and high density insulation chamber lining to prevent carbon build up and ensure long furnace life, even when used to ash samples containing hydrocarbons, such as plastic, paint, oil, rubber and coal. Preheated and regulated continuous air flow through the chamber ensures optimal thermal uniformity to avoid chilling any samples, While ensuring optimum ashing conditions.
  • Precise, push button temperature setting, with single ramp and timer (301) or option of 8 (3216P1) or 20 (3508P1) step programmer
  • Safety features include positive break door-open switch, double skinned body for safe outer surface temperature and vertical parallel lift door design which partially protects user from heat radiation when loading and unloading
  • Additionally 8L model has fused quartz chamber suitable for ashing materials which must not be contaminated with ceramic dust, which is present in conventional chamber linings
  • Each AAF model comes with inconel loading tray (AAF11/18 includes two trays), see AAF accessories image, and detachable loading tray handle
