Labconco™ FreeZone™ Triad Freeze Dryer is a three-in-one lyophilizer. Pre-freeze, freeze dry in flasks or on shelf and stopper under vacuum
- Stoppering tray dryer and sample freeze drying with four sample valves
- Samples for both types of freeze drying can be run at once
- Chamber pre-freezes samples, eliminating need for separate freezer and product transfer
- Upright stainless steel collector coil removes 1.84 L of water in 24 hours and holds 2.5 L of ice before defrosting
- Two 0.33hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration compressors cool the collector to -85°C (-121°F), are suitable for aqueous or dilute acetonitrile samples and work in concert with a 1000-watt heater to cool and heat fluid medium circulating through channels in the shelf. Not for use with samples containing methanol or ethanol
- Temperature-controlled shelves range from -55°C to +50°C (-67°F to +122°F) and a max of -75°C (-103°F) during pre-freezing
- Shelves provide pneumatic stoppering with a diaphragm, eliminating the need for compressed gas
- Lyo-Works™ OS provides real time display of collector temperature and vacuum level, on 5 in. color touchscreen
- Processing shelf: 12.4 x 14.5 in. (31.5 x 36.8 cm)
- Spacing between shelf and top of chamber accommodates containers with stoppers up to 148 mm high
- One probe for monitoring temperature of sample in chamber
