Invitrogen™ FAP Monoclonal Antibody (F11-24), eBioscience™

Description
Description: BMS168 (F11-24) specifically reacts with Fibroblast Activation Protein (FAP), a cell surface glycoprotein of reactive human fibroblast. Among the normal adult organs tested BMS168 does not show immunoreactivity in immunohistological studies with either resting fibroblasts (fibrocytes) of the normal organ mesenchyme or the parenchymal cells. The single exception noted is a subset of endocrine cells in the pancreatic islets, presumably glucagon-producing A cells. Applications Tested: Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation.
