Description

ExPert is a xylene-based medium, used for the mounting and subsequent preserving of slide specimens. Being a rapid-drying medium, it allows users to quickly screen slides within the laboratory.

  • ExPert possesses excellent long-term storage qualities, exhibiting no discolouration of the mounted specimen after years of archiving.
  • The refractive index is equivalent to the market leading product, being close to that of glass +20°C. Viscosity has been optimised to reduce the formation of air bubbles whilst increasing the medium's clarity.
