The new Sharpsguard™ eco containers, made using at least 40% recycled plastic that is used for the disposal of sharps that have not been contaminated with medicines.

  • Sharpsguard™ eco 0.5 with needle remover, is ideal for community healthcare workers and easily fitted into a bag or glove compartment.
  • This container is already supplied with the lid assembled. Details about how to lock the container and keep the users and contents safe can be found on the label.
  • Whilst in use containers should be positioned safely using the base plate 0.5 from our POUDS™ range.
  • Apart from a difference in shade of color and an added 'R' on the end of the product code, there is no difference to the safe and easy to use range that you know and trust.
  • This container is for disposal by incineration or other authorized process and is designed for the consignment of waste categorized by EWC codes: 18-01-01, 18-01-03, 18-02-01, 18-02-02.
