The DURAN™ SUPER DUTY products are characterized by a higher mechanical strength achieved by reinforcing the rim. As a result of this modification, the impact strength is improved, and the risk of accidental breakage is significantly reduced.

Life can be tough for laboratory glassware such as beakers, flasks and cylinders. Rough handling and laboratory processes like automated washing can cause damage and breakages. The DURAN™ SUPER DUTY products were specially developed to better cope with laboratory life. The DURAN™ SUPER DUTY products are characterized by a higher mechanical strength achieved by reinforcing the rim. As a result of this modification, the impact strength is improved, and the risk of accidental breakage is significantly reduced. The DURAN™ SUPER DUTY products increase the safety in the laboratory and help to minimize the risk of injury. The longer life expectancy of the SUPER DUTY products means that they are more economical to use over the long term.
