Invitrogen™ Desmoplakin Polyclonal Antibody
Description
Positive Samples: HepG2; Cellular Location: Cell junction, Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, desmosome.
Desmoplakin (DSP) is a major high molecular weight protein of the desmosomes. It is involved in the organization of the desmosomal cadherin-plakoglobin complexes into discrete plasma membrane domains and in the anchoring of intermediate filaments to the desmosomes. Desmoplakin mutations are associated with Keratoderma and cardiomyopathy.
