Description

Ideal for high temperature SPE applications. Macherey-Nagel™ Chromabond™ Glass Fiber Frit are designed for individual packing of empty glass SPE columns with Chromabond™ adsorbents (glass columns, adsorbents sold separately).

Frits act as filters in solid phase extraction chromatography. They help to hold the column packing in place and facilitates sorbent packing in the column. Glass fiber columns/frits have many advantages:

  • Resistant to acids, bases and most organic solvents
  • Has low absorption for most biological macromolecules
  • Ideal for high-temperature applications
