Description

The cAMP Hunter™ eXpress CXCR5 (BLR1) CHO-K1 GPCR Assay measures CXCR5 (GPCR) activity via decreased levels of intracellular cAMP. eXpress kits contain all assay materials: cells, reagents, and plates.

The cAMP Hunter™ CXCR5 (BLR1) eXpress kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This kit assesses ligand (e.g. CXCL13/BCA-1/BLC) based activation of CXCR5 GPCR activity via detection of decreasing levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wildtype CXCR5 , a naturally Gi/Go coupled GPCR. Upon activation of CXCR5 , the decrease in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to a decreased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates.
