Water saturated phenol for DNA/RNA extractions

Phenol is used as a reagent in chemical analysis. It is used in the manufacture of colorless or light-colored artificial resins, many medical and industrial organic compounds and dyes. It is commonly used in tissue preservation and DNA/RNA extraction with chloroform.
