Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Reacts with the 150kDa adhesion glycoprotein (p150, integrin α chain) expressed on NK cells, a subset of B and T cells, monocytes, granulocytes and macrophages. It associates with CD18 to form the CD11c/CD18 complex, which binds fibrinogen and has been reported to be a receptor for iC3b and ICAM-1. Reports indicate that CD11c/CD18 may play a role as an adhesion molecule which binds to receptors on stimulated epithelium. The antibody is conjugated to BD Horizon™ V450, which has been developed for use in multicolor flow cytometry experiments and is available exclusively from BD Biosciences. It is excited by the Violet laser Ex max of 406nm and has an Em Max at 450nm. Conjugates with BD Horizon™ V450 can be used in place of Pacific Blue™ conjugates.
