It is also used in the surface coating and printing industries, thereby it regulate the flow, levelling, and coalescence of both surface coatings. It acts as an intermediate in the production of agro-chemicals and de-icing, and anti-icing formulations. It finds application as to make cleaning products, as grease and paint remover.
