Description
1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene is applied as a liquid scintillator. It is also used as a sterilizing agent and in the manufacture of dyes, perfumes, and resins. It is used as a safe solvent for the production of H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide). Pseudocumene is used mainly as raw material for the production of trimellitic anhydride, pyromellitic dianhydride.
