Description
- Cellulose nitrate (CN), mixed cellulose ester (MCE), membrane filters are composed of cellulose nitrate and a small content of cellulose acetate.
- Recommended for a broad range of applications such as the filtration of aqueous solutions, air/gas filtration, or sample preparation.
- Suitable for sterile filtration, analytical sample preparation, clarification, particle analysis.
- Cellulose nitrate filters, pore size 0.2 μm can be used for the analysis of filterability of beer (membrane filter test according to Esser, in “MEBAK – Brautechnische Analysemethoden – Würze, Bier, Mischgetränke – Methodensammlung der Mitteleuropäischen Brautechnischen Analysenkommission“ 2012, Chapter 2.20.1)
- Sterilizable by autoclave, gamma irradiation, or ETO.
