Description

OPTIZYME™ T4 DNA Ligase catalyzes the formation of phosphodiester bonds between juxtaposed 5'-phosphate and 3'-hydroxyl termini in duplex DNA or RNA.

Applications and Features:

  • OPTIZYME™ T4 DNA Ligase is used to clone restriction enzyme generated DNA fragments
  • Fast sticky end ligation (10min at room temperature)
  • Cloning PCR products
  • Ligation of double-stranded oligonucleotide linkers or adaptors to DNA

  • Active in buffers for OPTIZYME restriction enzymes

  • 10X OPTIZYME T4 DNA Ligase Buffer : 400mM Tris-HCl, 100mM MgCl2, 100mM DTT, 5mM ATP (pH7.8 at 25°C)
  • 50% OPTIZYME PEG 4000 Solution: 50% (w/v) polyethylene glycol
